Former Singida East MP (Chadema), Tundu Lissu has said he will not return to Tanzania on September 7, 2019 as scheduled but will wait for the doctors' permission.
Lissu made the statement on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), when asked when he would return to Tanzania.
He said doctors were not yet sure when he would return.
"I said initially I would be back on September 7, 2019 but my doctor told me he would see me on October 1, 2019 and the last time he would see me last October 8, 2019, so the start schedule will not be possible, because my doctor wants to see me."said Lissu Socket
Lissu, has been out of the country since September 7, 2017 when he was attacked by more than 30 unidentified gunmen in his area of residence in Area D, Dodoma coming out to attend Assembly sessions
