The police officer in the Coast Region has arrested Albert Kiwia (45) a resident of Kimara in Dar es Salaam for allegedly transporting various fake cosmetics, using a Toyota Nissan.
In another move, the army successfully seized seven gallons of diesel fuel with a capacity of 20 liters each of the suspected stolen property.
Coastal police commander Wankyo Nyigesa told reporters that the suspect has been arrested on August 29 this year, in the area of the old Balance-Kibaha City.
He explained that, despite the suspicion of exporting the cosmetics, the army asked him to show to TRA the taxpayer's tax receipts at the country's border while importing cosmetics and did not
He wanted them, traders with a tendency to import their goods by avoiding paying taxes, to stop immediately.
Wankyo said, they have controlled all the loopholes for those trying to avoid paying taxes on all provincial roads and those who will be arrested severe legal action will be taken against them.
However, explaining in connection with the fatal arrest of diezel oil, he said the remains were seized, in the area of Misugusugu, Kibaha after the person with the oil abandoned it and fled after seeing a police car heading towards his place.
Wankyo called on the community to stop storing diesel and petrol in the home as it is dangerous
